As with most large scale charitable events, the Etape du Dlaes just wouldn't function without the army of volunteers that turn out year in year out no matter what the weather to make the event the success that it is. In total we need more than 70 volunteers to make the event possible so if you fancy lending a hand and joining the team to help run the event please get in touch. In thanks for you support we offer each volunteer a complimentary ticket to the legendary Dave Rayner dinner held in Leeds every November, or a complimentary place on the ride.

Torq have become established supporters of the event and we are immensely grateful to Matt for his support and nutritional advice for the riders. TORQ a fantastic product made with natural ingredients and helps us satisfy the riders on this epic challenge.

Settle World Wide Wheelers

The Etape du Dales was devised by the Dave Rayner Fund committee and the first organiser of the event was fund secretary Stuart Holdsworth of Settle World Wide Wheelers. Sadly Stuart was fatally injured on October 2nd 2008 doing what he enjoyed most - riding his bike. The strong affinity of the club with the event continues today and the stalwart members of the club help at the feed stations. We are immensely grateful for their continued support.

A club with world wide appeal!
