ETAPE du dales 2024
The ETAPE du dales is back for 2024 with a completely revised format! NEW HQ location, NEW routes, but the same challenging terrain as you have come to expect from the team that has delivered this iconic event for over 20 years!
ETAPE du dales - 2024
We have a new and exciting route for 2024, taking in a whole host of new climbs and challenges in the Yorkshire Dale National Park. The route will be 177km and have almost 3,600m of ascent, so very much in keeping with the previous challenging routes.
We will be keeping the exact route details a closely guarded secret until close to the event, revealing snippets of the challenge to whet your appetite through our social media channels. Full GXP files will be sent to all entrants 14 days prior to the start
mini ETAPE
Covering some of the same roads as the main event (which is closely guarded secret), at just over 100km the Mini Etape is the perfect way to sample the delights of the dales (and some of the climbs), so if you're not sure the main Etape is for you, enjoy the Mini Etape and see what delights the Yorkshire Dales has to offer.
Full GPX files will be sent to all entrants 14 days prior to the start.
GRVL dales
At the Rayner Foundation we enjoy and support cycling! Whether you're dreaming to be the next Tour de France winner, or planning an epic multi-day adventure we salute you for sharing our deep love of the sport.
The Etape du Dales was conceived as a road ride in memory of the foundation's namesake, and there's no denying that it is a serious challenge but, there are many who relish the challenge of something a little different, and so this year we have added a tough and challenging 80km gravel ride to our event.
